Tom Ford Costa Azzurra Travels to Sardinia (2014) {New Fragrance}

Tom_Ford_Costa_Azzurra.jpg Tom Ford launched a new marine perfume in 2014 in the Private Blend collection baptized Costa Azzurra, which is inspired by a less fashionable yet noteworthy travel spot, Sardinia...

The eau de parfum is an ode to the Mediterranean and its aromatic riches reportedly smelling of,

...the evocative mix of island woods on the desirable destination of Sardinia, with its unique aroma of salty beaches, dry herbs, evergreen trees and driftwood mingling with scents of the low, thickly forested landscape known in the Mediterranean as the Macchia-a tangle of oaks, juniper pines and herbs.

Main fragrance notes are: Juniper, Herbs, Green Notes, Oak and Warm Woods.

The composition is said to offer a salty twist and to be sensual.

MSRPs: $135 for 30 ml, $215 for 50 ml and $525 for 250 ml.
