Couturier to the stars Elie Saab has released a new eau de toilette for women called Le Parfum Resort Collection, which is inspired by the ready-to-wear Elie Saab Resort fashions...
This is a twist on Le Parfum, released in 2011.
The setting is the Amalfi coast. The idea is to capture the varying hues of blue and sunlight you can see while standing on a whiter-than-white yacht with not a care in the world.
Francis Kurkdjian of Takasago, the perfumer who created the original and this sea-side themed one said,
"The fragrance is released in waves like a warm gentle breeze caressing the face of a woman who stands on the deck of her yacht wearing a stunning long dress in a shade of blue that is reminiscent of the sea. It is a fleeting but intense moment filled with nothing but harmony."
The fragrance opens on top notes of sweet fig and tart mandarin followed by a heart of orange blossom and frangipani, making the original white bouquet more tropical. The base rests on cedarwood and amber.
This is supposed to be a luminous white floral with a touch of edibleness in the shape of a fruity fig.
Price: 89,90€ for 90 ml. This is a limited-edition.
