Yves Rocher have introduced a new fragrance called So Elixir Bois Sensuel L'Eau de parfum, a flanker to So Elixir (2009), but also a mark-up in terms of their perfume offerings, which usually aim to feel affordable...

This might be also the brand's first oud/oudh entry as a phrase such as "precious woods" can be another name for the prized and ubiquitous accord of Oriental, vintage wood. So Elixir centers also on a white floral note; overtime it has oscillated between sambac jasmine and tuberose, so this would be yet another white floral x oudh trend example.

The new floriental composition is co-signed by perfumers Olivier Cresp and Marie Salamagne of Firmenich.

The scent is said to be "extremely sensual". It blends "precious woods" and "unctious balms."

Main ingredients are absolute of vanilla, essence of patchouli and absolute of iris.

Price: 74€ for 50 ml edp + a travel spray.
