Here's a little corner of the sky in Paris yesterday evening, or rather at dusk...
The hour is mythical in perfumery. It is the time of the day when vision becomes ambiguous. The sense of smell takes precedence, or so hoped a perfumer.
I have to say that to reference another perfume yet besides the celebrated Guerlain L'Heure Bleue or Bourjois Evening in Paris, namely Air de Paris by Coty, the air yesterday was redolent of garbage effluvia due to a refuse collector strike taking place since Monday.
It smelled bad but you could still admire the sky.
