L'Homme Idéal Eau de Parfum by Guerlain

Guerlain will launch a new Eau de Parfum version of L'Homme Idéal, originally released in 2014 as an eau de toilette, then in 2015 as an eau de cologne, from April 18, 2016...

The new composition bears the official signature of not just « Guerlain Master Perfumer » Thierry Wasser but also of Delphine Jelk « Guerlain Perfumer », who previously had authored the first version of La Petite Robe Noire (2009).

While perfume houses employ teams of perfumers, it is not often publicly ackonwledged, contrary to, say, the movie industry where no one is pretending to create a movie single-handedly. It means also in this case that Jelk took an active, creative participation in the making of the perfume.

The eau de parfum is described as a spicy woody oriental. It opens on top notes of bergamot, Bulgarian roses and spices followed by a heart of vanilla, almond and incense or Frankincense. The bases rests on the signature tonka bean note together with sandalwood.

SRP : 99€ for 100 ml
