Guerlain is issuing its annual limited-edition lily-of-the-valley soliflore called Muguet in remembrance of a courtly custom instituted by Charles IX, which is still followed each year in France with ritual gifts of lily-of-the-valley sprigs - and sometimes even perfume...

The original scent dates back to 1906 but was reformulated over the course of time.

In 2017, the house releases as usual the same fragrance in a collector bottle, this time ornamented with embroidery work by Atelier Bizet.

A 125 ml bottle is priced at 430€.
