Olivier Durbano Parfums de Pierres Poèmes Jade (2008) {New Perfume}

Olivier-Durbano-Jade.jpg
Olivier Durbano, following Rock Crystal, Amethyst, and Black Tourmaline, has launched his fourth perfume in the Parfums-de-Pierres-Poèmes series, called Jade.

The perfume, inspired by the stone itself as well as by its mythology and history, is described as an aromatic wood and features, not surprisingly, a number of notes declining different shades of green...

According to the press release,

"Celestial, royal, precious, Jade is the symbol of eternal life, symbol of love and virtue, as well as symbol of absolute power.

Jade is also the stone of honesty linked to power. It is middleness, virtue, tolerance, harmony as well as inner peace, justice and modesty
."

Jade opens on initial aromatic notes of green tea, badiane (star aniseed), mint, cardamom. The perfume then segues into spicy-floral notes of iris, jasmine, Chinese cinnamon. The lasting impression of the scent is ambery and woody with notes of amber, patchouli, vetiver, moss, musk, immortelle (Everlasting), green maté.

It is available $125 for 100 ml at Luckyscent.
