Amy Winehouse is Looking for a Perfume Deal but Refuses to Sell It {Fragrance News} {Celebrity Scents}
It's really hard to find a picture of Amy Winehouse which does not come across as you hating her and wanting to make her appear her worst. So, finally found a shot where she does not just look like an opaque, dense drunk or semi-articulate rehab escapee.
If you want to wear the perfume this lady represents, expect to see one possibly appear on the perfume counters. According to the Daily Star,..
"Mitch [Amy's father] is keen to license Amy's name to a perfume house. He has been in talks with manufacturers and contacted PR firms for advice,"
"They want it to reflect her style with a classic smoky 1950s look and smell. Amy is keen to expand her brand and wants to latch on to the celeb perfumes bandwagon while she can," the source added.
Another source, Cosmetics International, gathered the information that a potential issue might not be so much Winehouse's less than PC public image but rather her professed unwillingness to help sell the fragrance by making personal appearances, an art of public communication at which Paris Hilton excells and for which she earned a FiFi award this year.
You can be trash but you have to play by the rules in the end otherwise the marketing ball does not get rolling.
