Ida Delam Le 6 (2009): Homage to Chanel No5 & Gabrielle Chanel {New Perfume}

Parisian spa Le Six founder and owner Ida Delam has launched a perfume inspired by the personal fantasy of the soul of Gabrielle Chanel having crossed Delam's path one day.

The fragrance called Le 6 (The Six) is said to be "a wink at or homage to" the mythical perfume of the house of Chanel, Le No. 5...

Like its predecessor and model, the perfume reveals an aldehydic facet.

The composition is said to present "an osmosis between the refinement of the orient and the elegance of the West," and to be slightly oniric in tone.

The Eau de Parfum was created by perfumer Fabrice Olivieri who also signed recently the three all-natural fragrances by Nature et Découvertes.

Opening notes:

almond, star aniseed, aldehyde

Body notes:

absolute of myrrh, iris, violet

Lingering notes:

musk, vanilla, white amber
