Armani Code Luna (2012): Feminine Magnetism {New Fragrance} {Perfume Images & Ads}

armani_code_luna_ad.jpgArmani launched a new version of Armani Code for women called Armani Code Luna. It is inspired by the feminine symbol of the moon serving as pretext for the brand to turn the theme of seduction (willed action) into that of magnetism (simply being). The original Armani Code for women launched in 2006....

Armani-Code-Luna-Valeria-Bilello.jpegThe ad campaign is fronted both by actress Megan Fox - the usual face for the fragrance - and Italian model Valeria Bilello who also features in the TV commercial. The song for the ad is "In For The Kill" (Skream's Lets Get Ravey Remix) by La Roux.

The perfume showcases a note of "Mirabilis" also known as Belle de Nuit and Fleur de Lune. The floral note was interpreted in Chopard Cascade and even more popularly so in Nina Ricci Ricci Ricci, but under the name "Belle de Nuit". This is a bit of a case of literary sleight of hand.

Code Luna is a citrusy floriental.

Top notes: bergamot, petit grain, orange, pear

Heart notes: mirabilis or belle de nuit, orange blossom, white floral bouquet

Base notes: tonka bean, vanilla, leather
