Cacharel Catch Me Plays Up the Seduction Theme (2012) {New Perfume}

catch_me_cacharel_ad.jpgIn an almost ethological twist on the eternal theme of seduction Cacharel will launch a new perfume for women from September 2012 called Catch Me...

The advertising shot by Jean-Baptiste Mondino features not just one man and a woman as is usual but a woman being chased by three different men in hot pursuit of the character played by model Diana Moldovan.

The perfume's key note is orange blossom, described by perfumer Dominique Ropion as "one of the greatest flowers in perfume-making". It is accompanied by almond milk accord, petit grain, Italian mandarin, and amber woods.

"The result is mouth-watering pleasure," remarked Ropion about his own creation of this woody floral gourmand. "Light and addictive, innocent and carnal, refreshing and sensual...It's a fragrance that likes to play with its power of seduction, without taking itself too seriously."

The flacon was designed by Patrick Veillet. It illustrates the concept of a fruit ready to be picked and wants to evoke the paradoxical concept of "liquid rigidity".
