Maxim Magazine readers will soon be able to wear the cologne that best expresses the essence of cool of their favorite magazine. We hope so at least. The mag has entered into a partnership with fragrance compagny Omni Scents, headed by Neil J. Katz to release a men's cologne from Fall 2013...

We welcome this first fragrance brand for men, which will provocatively express the brand’s unique voice and believe it will have tremendous appeal to the global Maxim consumer,” and “Entering into the grooming category is for the Maxim brand a natural progression of Maxim’s global growth strategy.”
Neil J. Katz President and CEO of Omni Scents rejoined by saying "Maxim is more than a magazine. It is a lifestyle brand that resonates with men all over the world, [...] When Maxim holds an event there is worldwide interest. Our job will be to harness and bring that excitement, fun and suggestiveness to the fragrance world. This launch should be a heck of a ride."
Lori Zelenko of LSZ Communications added, "Maxim Magazine will launch a men's cologne collection in August 2013. But don't expect any of the hotties who grace the magazine's pages - celebrities from Jennifer Love Hewitt and Anna Kournikova to Lindsay Lohan and Kourtney Kardashian - to appear on the packaging. But maybe with one spritz of the scent a guy can snag a hometown hottie of his own!"
