Perfume is the way to remember the passing of days, in our experience and opinion. Don't neglect to mark your calendar with meaningful scented pauses and celebrations! Below is a quick recap of what not to miss, calendar-wise, in the coming weeks...
The cherry blossom season is on the wane already, but you can replace aesthetic contemplation in situ with a spritz of good sakura perfume. A new one, an alas limited-one, like the blooming of flowers, is Van Cleef & Arpels Féérie Spring Blossom. L'Occitane can also help tie you over as they have a number of cherry blossom scents on offer.
April 22 is Earth Day 2013. We can celebrate by trying to find a really ethical and green fragrance to wear on that global awareness day. http://www.earthday.org/
May 1st is Muguet Day in France, and now celebrated more largely thanks to the internet community of international perfume lovers. Scent knows no border in the digital age.
Yves Rocher just launched a new lily of the valley perfume which is fresh and pretty. Fragonard as well. We'll have occasion to go back to the muguet note later on.
May 12, 2013 is La Fête des Mères in France, that is Mother's Day. We have a number of suggestions coming up.
May 26, 2013 is Mother's Day in the USA. Stay tuned.
Do you have a favorite flower blooming at this time of year? What fragrance calendar are you following, if any?
