My Ylang by Caron is one of the two new additions to La Sélection Caron - which also comprises rebottled classics - together with Più Bellodgia.

The eau de parfum opens on jasmine absolute, ylang-ylang, rose, and muguet followed by cassis/blackcurrant and mandarin before developing a deeper base resting on green vanilla absolute from Madagascar.
Caron operate with in-house perfumer Richard Fraysse who originally wanted to become a chef. He is the grand-son of Claude Fraysse who created Old English Lavender and Weil Zibeline (with his daughter Jacqueline Fraysse), and the son of Hubert Fraysse who created Arpège by Lanvin and Antilope by Weil.
