The Second Chapter of a Stroll in an Ideal Lily Garden

Van Cleef & Arpels have launched a new variation on Rêve (2013) (Dream) called Rêve Elixir, which is said to be a more precious and sophisticated version of the original, which itself aimed to recreate principally a world full of poetry and softness thanks to a refined effect of transparency...

The new composition is signed by perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer of Symrise, one of the three co-signers of the initial version.

"Rêve Elixir is like taking an enchanted stroll in an oniric garden, a lush Eden with a thousand white florals."

The eau de parfum retains notes of pear, osmanthus and amber as a filiation link with Rêve although now they've been enriched and facetted to reveal more solar and voluptuous facets, according to the jewelry brand.

The scent is said to open on velvety peach blossom petals illuminated by a fruity, juicy, sweet and slightly green pear as well as the freshness of a delicate neroli. In the heart, frangipani adds its solar nature creating a sensation of white and pure light as well as that of sun-kissed skin together with fruity and suave osmanthus and lightly woody iris. The sillage is vibrant and intense thanks to warm amber, soft sandalwood, and fiery cedar wood.

Prices: 95€ for 100 ml and 75€ for 50 ml.
