Valentino Valentina Rosa Assoluto (2014) {New Fragrance}

Valentino_Valentina_Rosa_Assoluto.jpg Couturier Valentino has released a new, second-degree flanker to Valentina called Valentina Rosa Assoluto, a new Middle-East influenced composition after Valentina Assoluto (2012)...

Rosa Assoluto is a new chapter in Valentina's travel to Orient. A tribute to a precious oriental rose, it is inspired by rich Middle Eastern colours, precious scents, and fine quality ingredients.

The fragrance has been reworked as a chypre composition by perfumer Olivier Cresp of Firmenich. The nose chose the chypre family of perfumes for its perceived power and elegance. The new sensation is now more nocturnal and seductive, the tagline which defined Valentina Assoluto (2012) in comparison with Valentina (2011).

Valentina Rosa Assoluto retains the trademark White Truffle note which characterizes the aromatic profile of the line.

The Eau de Parfum opens on top notes of Italian bergamot, Sicilian peach and white truffle from Alba. The heart features tuberose, jasmine and soft vanilla from Madagascar. The base is chypré with oakmoss and patchouli.

Price: £92 for 80 ml of EDP. Currently available as an exclusive at Harrods in London.
