Elizabeth Arden Pretty Hot (2011) {New Perfume}

Elizabeth_Arden_Pretty_Hot_Ad.jpgElizabeth Arden have launched a new women's fragrance as part of the timely releases for Valentine's Day 2011. Pretty Hot follows Pretty. It was inspired by the sensual floral accents of Belle de Nuit, like Cascade by Chopard, Ricci Ricci by Nina Ricci and Playboy Play it Lovely. The composition is signed by perfumer Claude Dir of Givaudan. The tag line is "A little naughty. A lot of pretty."

"Too hot to handle, Pretty Hot Elizabeth Arden is a fragrance of unmistakable sexy confidence."....

The bottle of the perfume is the same fiery red as the petals of the Belle de Nuit vision that is its origin. "Igniting a daring floralcy, Belle de Nuit explodes like a firework in the night sky."

The Eau de Parfum opens on top notes of Red currant, Blood Orange, Juicy Mandarin, Freesia, Red Apple. The heart is built around Red Peony, Belle de Nuit (Queen of the Night) Scentrek™, Pimento Blossom, Petalia,™ Georgywood.™ Scentrek means that the fragrance was captured live without damaging the plant and impacting the evolution of its scent after picking. The lingering base notes are Sensuous Amber, White Patchouli, Tonka Crystals, Sandalwood, Cosmone.™ The latter is a musk molecule with warm, powdery facets mimicking old-school nitromusks which are not used anymore under modern perfumery regulation. It also offers a nuance of ambergris.

A 3.3 fl. oz is priced at $65 and available online from shop.elizabetharden.com
