Italian niche house Acqua di Parma have launched a new fragrance in their noble soliflores series called Rosa Nobile...

The new composition is described with the words "refined and timeless, Rosa Nobile celebrates the beauty and allure of innate feminine charm."

The eau de parfum teases first with Sicilian mandarin, Calabrian bergamot and pepper before letting a floral bouquet evolve in the heart with peony, violet and lily of the valley, a trio seen as the "perfect" counterpoint to key note, "the richness of Centifolia Rose from Italy." The lasting sillage rests on cedarwood, ambergris and musk.

Acqua di Parma are best known for their Colonia. Since 2004, they have created a gallery of soliflores starting with Iris Nobile. There are also Magnolia Nobile (2009) and Gelsomino Nobile (2011).

Price: $133 for 50 ml & $198 for 100 ml.

It's currently an exclusive at Holt's Renfrew
