Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Limon Verde (2014) {New Fragrance}

Guerlain will add a new feminine fragrance to their summery Aqua Allegoria library called Limon Verde. This is a retake on their masculine perfume Guerlain Homme L'Eau which was inspired originally by a Mojito cocktail...

Limon Verde takes its aromatic cue from the Brazilian drink Caipirinha. The fragrance is said to be a green fruity-floral citrus jus meant to evoke an escapist journey along the river Amazon sipping the national beverage. If you ask us, we can only think of the millions of mosquitoes that that vision entails, but to each their own.

The perfume opens on top notes of green citruses followed by a heart of sugar cane and green lime and rests on a base of Caipirinha.

Other fragrances with Caipirinha accords include Outrageous by Frédéric Malle, Nina Ricci Nina L'Elixir, CKIN2U Heat for Him and L'Artisan Parfumeur Batucada.
