J. del Pozo in White by J. del Pozo {New Perfume}

J. del Pozo is launching a new feminine fragrance on a pearly white theme called J. del Pozo in White. It is described as a bouquet of white flowers and was composed by Francis Kurkdjian and Violaine David of Takasago.

"The launch is set for May in Spain, Portugal, Germany, the UK and France. The brand's other markets (120 countries) will discover In White in September.[...]


The EdPs are priced €44 for 50ml and €58 for 100ml."

Fleur du Mâle by Jean Paul Gaultier {New Perfume}

Beauté Prestige International has officially unveiled the new masculine scent by Jean Paul Gaultier called Fleur du Mâle (Flower of the Male) after Baudelaire's book of poems Les Fleurs du Mal (Flowers of Evil). The name puts an emphasis also on an unconventional composition for the 20th and 21st centuries' mainstream masculine perfume markets. It resolutely makes important use of flowers and in particular of orange blossom....

Sunset Heat & Sunset Heat for Men by Escada {New Perfumes}

Escada continues to launch yearly summer limited editions. This time, the brand is issuing not only a women's fragrance but a men's as well. Sunset Heat for Men is described a s a woody aquatic fragrance and has notes of starfruit, combava (a tart little citrus fruit), ocean breeze, lavender, floated wood, and willywood. Sunset Heat the feminine version is, not surprisingly, a fruity floral and has notes of papaya, citrus, mango, pineaple, watermelon, peach, hibiscus, and sandalwood.

This spring season is starting with a big bang of announcements regarding trendy collections of scents to come. After Chanel and Tom Ford, Matthew Williamson is proposing The Collection. It will include four scents called Lotus, Warm Sand, Jasmine Sambac, and Incense whose inspirations are derived from notes contained in the initial fragrance created under the Matthew Williamson label.....

Now Women & Now Men by Azzaro {New Perfumes}

Azzaro is launching a duo of perfumes called Now Women and Now Men which will be presented in high-tech style packagings. Now Women is described as a soft floral aldehydic fragrance and was composed by Annie Buzantian and Alberto Morillas. Now Men is said to be a metallic woody green fragrance and was created by Christophe Raynaaud and Lucas Sieuzac.

Opium Eau d'Orient Orchidée de Chine by Yves Saint-Laurent {New Perfume}

Each year, Yves Saint-Laurent proposes a new interesting twist on the classic Opium in a summer limited edition of the fragrance. This time, the orchid, a flower favored by the empress of China is the basis of the inspiration for the new scent called Opium Eau d'Orient Orchidée de Chine (Opium Eau of the Orient, Orchid from China.)

Besides the characteristic spicy notes of Opium, the perfume has also notes of mandarin, neroli, orchid, jasmin, carnation, amber, vanilla, patchouli, and iris. The scent will be available from Mars 2007 and will retail for 55 Euros for a flacon of 100 ml.

1st Perfume by Coach Will Launch in April 2007 {New Perfume}

The leather goods brand Coach is ready to launch its first ever scent this April 2007. The perfume was developed in collaboration with Firmenich and includes top notes of tart green mandarin, guava, violet petals and water lily; a heart of genet flower, honey, orange flower, mimosa and jasmine, and a drydown of sandalwood, amber wood and vanilla.....

Private Blend by Tom Ford {New Perfumes}

Tom Ford announced that his Private Blend collection will launch in about 8 weeks coinciding with the opening of his store. The collection comprise 12 scents that are marketed as being unisex although the designer admitted that 6 of them will probably appeal more to women and the 6 others to men. He finally settled the issue by stressing that the Private Blend fragrances are mostly meant to reach out to connoisseurs, i.e., people who don't care about these distinctions. Distribution will be very limited, not more than 5 selling-points in the US alone.....

Theo Fennell & Silver Sleeve Parfum by Theo Fennell {New Perfume} {Luxury Perfume}

British Jeweller and designer Theo Fennell has issued an eponymous perfume for which Harrods currently has world-wide exclusivity. The scent was created by Christophe Laudamiel, the author of Youth Dew Amber Nude and the Mugler Coffret, amongst others. It comes in an edp version and a luxury version called Silver Sleeve Parfum.....

Beyond Paradise Blue by Estee Lauder {New Perfume}

UK Estee Lauder is introducing a new limited edition of an innovative jus called Beyond Paradise Blue, which uses exceptional ingredients that were found through a nature conservation project called the Eden Project. Orange Flower Templar and Crêpe Jasmin are reportedly used for the first time in a fragrance.

The perfume is also said to inaugurate a new fragrance category that has been dubbed the "Prismatic Floral" category. It is in principle exclusively distributed through travel retail stores.....

Vivacité(s) by Les Eaux de Bach {New Perfume}

After Présence(s), Les Eaux de Bach is introducing a second eau de parfum called Vivacité(s). It is described as a spicy oriental. Like the first one, this perfume is based on recipes elaborated in the 1930s by Dr. Edward Bach and which take into account the emotional benefits of plants.

Top notes are gorse and centaurea. Heart notes are chestnut tree and olive tree. Base notes are larch and mustard.

Coco Extrême by Comptoir Sud Pacifique {New Perfume}

After having worked on a series of variations on vanilla, Comptoir Sud Pacifique is now inaugurating a series dedicated to the aroma of coconut. The first perfume in the collection is called Coco Extrême (Extreme Coco) and is created by Raymond Carlavan of Fragrance Resources.

It is described as a creamy, slightly powdery and solar fragrance in which notes of hot frothy milk combine with vanilla flower and rock candy.

Passion Brésil by Esteban {New Perfume}

Esteban is continuing to develop its Le Bain (The Bath) collection with this new addition called Passion Brésil (Brazil Passion). It is described as an unusual and refined feminine fragrance built around a musky floral-green accord in which the non-mainstream aroma of the coffee flower mingles with those of subtle fruity notes.
