 The Diesel Fuel for Life franchise launched a new duo for men and women called the Denim Collection, with the tag line, "The new sexy fragrance." Denim for Him is a woody citrus and Denim for Her is a woody floral. The playful advertizing campaign seems to prefer to bypass the word "subtle" in its vocabulary.  Calvin Klein will launch a new duo of fragrances called CK One Shock for Her and CK One Shock for Him from August 2011. As is understood from the tag line with which the perfumes are advertized, the scents address themselves to a rebellious generation, who is shocked by nothing. More specifically, and as is customary for the CK One franchise which functions as billboard for the anticipated aspirations of the younger adolescent generations since its launch in 1994 (see also CKIN2U),

 Delarom, a French beauty brand specializing in aromachology which aims to promote wellness through scent carried either by alcoholic perfume or cosmetics, have released a new perfume called Envolée de Freesia (Surge of Freesia) Eau Parfumée. It follows up on Orangia Bellissima which was released around Christmas time 2010.
While the formulae have a healing purpose, they do not smell medicinal nor simplistic, reaching a good level of complexity...

 Top model Bar Refaeli has been picked as the face of the new, upcoming feminine Escada fragrance to be launched in August 2011 called Especially Escada.  Prada will launch a new feminine perfume called Candy from August 2011 whose face is young French actress Léa Seydoux known for her role in The Beautiful Person (La Belle Personne), a remake of the classic 17th century love story novel by Madame de la Fayette, La princesse de Clèves.

 Diesel, which have been cornering the market on cool sexiness, are going a step further this time with the upcoming release of a new women's perfume called Loverdose. The term is a portmanteau of love + overdose, not of lover + dose nor a French-sounding L'Overdose. Despite its name, the eau de parfum was reportedly carefully designed to control the sexual deportment of its wearer and (public, random) targets. The thought might be a bit scary if the perfume is really that efficacious, so use with caution.
According to the brand, the perfume contains special molecules which have the property of triggering and stimulating the hypothalamus, the center regulating sexual behavior...
